What the job includes

In the planned communities of Weston, Pembroke Pines, Doral and West Kendall, builder-grade toilets installed in the 1990s and 2000s are being replaced as a group, usually for efficient models that flush properly. We set the flange right, seal it right, and haul the old one away. Condo installs are coordinated with the building on shut-offs.
Jacksonville & the First Coast
Two different toilet situations show up across the First Coast. In newer communities like Nocatee, Oakleaf, and much of St. Johns County, builder-grade toilets from the 2000s are reaching the age where flush valves and seals give out together — often the nudge to upgrade. In older neighborhoods like Murray Hill, San Marco, and Ortega, the flange underneath may be original cast iron, corroded or set low after decades of flooring changes. On Florida's concrete slabs that flange work takes care — which is why a proper installation matters more than the toilet brand.

How long does it take to install a toilet?
A straightforward toilet installation takes about one to two hours, including removal, setting the new seal, leveling, and testing. It runs longer when the flange needs repair or the shut-off valve has to be replaced — and we can tell you which situation you have within minutes of pulling the old toilet.
What is a comfort-height toilet and is it worth it?
A comfort-height toilet has a bowl rim around 17 to 19 inches off the floor — roughly chair height, versus about 15 inches standard. For most adults it is noticeably easier to sit and stand, which is why it has become the default for main bathrooms and aging in place. Households with small children sometimes keep one standard-height toilet.
Do water-efficient toilets actually flush well?
Yes — modern water-efficient toilets flush very well; the weak-flushing reputation belongs to first-generation low-flow models from the 1990s. Today's designs move waste effectively on 1.28 gallons or less thanks to redesigned trapways, and independent flush ratings make strong performers easy to pick. Replacing an older 3.5-gallon tank cuts your water use on every flush.
Why do toilets rock or leak after installation?
A toilet rocks or slowly leaks after installation almost always because of what is under it: a flange that is cracked or set too low, a wax ring that never compressed evenly, or a bowl that was not shimmed level. Rocking then works the seal loose, and the leak follows. Get the flange and seal right and it sits solid for decades.
